MAGNETIC RESONANCE WORKSHOP – MSK upper extremity
anatomy and pathologies

1. Aims

1.1. Presenting normal anatomy of MSK in MR of upper extremity and selected pathologies in a form of didactic lectures and practical hands-on training on MR

1.2 Providing basic theoretical and practical knowledge on MR, especially for residents and young MSK radiologists and orthopaedics surgeons

1.3. Creating basis of knowledge about the MRI diagnosis of MSK disorders to create an interdisciplinary forum for education, research and good practices in the area of MSK radiology


2. Program Content

In general, lectures on MSK anatomy and basic pathologies of the upper extremity peripheral joints, with practical information regarding optimal MR sequences and planes needed to visualize all anatomical structures, followed by practical MRI training at the PC stations (2 participant/one station).
